National Disability Data Asset
The National Disability Data Asset (NDDA) will link de-identified data from Australian, state and territory government sources to better understand the life experiences of people with disability. Linking data from multiple sources can provide new insights into how people with disability interact across multiple support services and programs. This information will help improve programs and services for people with disability.
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is working with the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) to design and deliver the technical aspects of the disability data asset. The Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS) is leading the project, overseen by the Disability Reform Ministerial Council.
