Latest findings
The COVID-19 Register has been expanded in coverage to include over 9 million linked COVID-19 cases
Linkage rates for Version 2.6 were similar to Version 2.5, with over 90% of records linked
Around 5–10% of COVID-19 cases in Australia reported symptoms persisting for more than 3 months
Key risk factors include severe COVID-19 illness, comorbidities, female sex and mid-adult age groups
The AIHW has established a COVID-19 linked data set
Over 90% of records supplied for the project were linked
The Australian Government Department of Health collates national data about COVID-19 (coronavirus) and other notifiable communicable diseases. Data is being published daily by 9pm AEST, visit Department of Health website.
