Background
The Primary Health Care Data Development Expert Advisory Group (PHCDD EAG) provides advice and guidance to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) in the development and priorities of the National Primary Health Care Data Collection (PHC Data Collection).
Terms of reference
The role of the PHCDD EAG is:
- provision of expert advice on the direction of data development for the PHC Data Collection
- provision of expert technical and data development activity advice
- priority setting for the PHC Data Collection including identifying new sources of primary health care data and opportunities for reporting and development activities
Membership
The PHCDD EAG comprises members appointed on the basis of their individual expertise or experience. Members are not representatives of their employing organisation.
The PHCDD EAG is chaired by the AIHW.
