The Perinatal Mental Health pilot (PMHp) is a novel collection of de-identified antenatal and postnatal mental health data about mothers and other parents collected from public hospitals and maternal and child family health clinics. It includes patients’ self-reported responses to a range of clinical tools.

Data scope 

Data is collected from the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) iCOPE digital perinatal mental health screening platform, and data supplied directly from state and territory health departments. This first phase of the data collection only covers a segment of the antenatal and postnatal mental health screening occurring in Australia.
